Original PILE DRIVER™ models had a rubber cutting edge that was eventually upgraded to a steel cutting edge over time. The new PILE DRIVER™ pushers have a terrain-response advanced cutting edge (TRACE) that is comprised of independent, 2′ sections that raise, oscillate, and trip to accommodate contours and obstacles in the plowable surface. The new pushers are also easy to identify by the large branding on the inside of the box, a larger inside brace that supports the wing, and a reinforced bolt-on shoe (the front angle of the ski was increased to make curbing easier).
