Can you easily adjust the baffles on the fly from 30 to 36 inches?

Yes, it takes about a minute to unpin the trough, flip it down, and adjust the baffles on either side. Each side has a 3” baffle that can be adjusted independently. This is easy to do in the field as needed with no tools.

Is that clicking sound on my DROP™ 250 and 600 drop spreader normal?

Yes, this is by design. The agitator acts as a built-in vibrator and ensures a better flow of material.

Can you easily interchange the DROP™ spreader on multiple vehicles within your fleet?

Yes, the DROP™ 250 and 600 drop spreaders are one of the only spreaders that comes standard with three different mounts (2” receiver hitch, 3-point mount, and in-bed mount) to fit UTVs and tractors. Visit the spreader selector to confirm compatibility. NOTE: Each vehicle will require its own dedicated wiring harness for power.

A 36″ spread width makes applications on sidewalks and walking paths easy. The WESTERN drop spreaders can treat these surfaces with one or two passes and limit damage to the grass or sensitive surfaces right next to the path. The spread width can be limited to 30″ by activating 3″ baffles on either side of the trough.

A detachable 2-inch receiver style mount is provided as a standard feature and includes all the necessary hardware to attach the spreader to the vehicle. This allows the spreaders to be mounted on various equipment; anything with a 2-inch hitch receiver with sufficient payload capacity for the selected spreader.

In-bed mounting allows the units can sit flat and balanced with brackets and ratchet tie down straps are included to secure the unit in a UTV bed.
