How do you pair the wireless key fob to the LOW-PRO 300W tailgate spreader?

Here is a video that walks you through how to set it up. To start programming, connect 7-pin power plug to your vehicle. Reset the fob by pressing the “add” button on the back of the fob with a paperclip. A blue light will start flashing. Turn fob over to programmable face and enter the following sequence: 50%, OFF, 100%, 50%, OFF, 100%. Blue light should stop flashing. To test in manual, flip toggle switch down to manual override setting. Disconnect 7-pin power plug, wait a few seconds, and plug back in. Once spreader starts, disconnect the power plug again. Flip toggle switch up to neutral position and reconnect 7-pin power plug. To erase control board, press and hold toggle switch up to “learn” position for 15 seconds, then release switch to return to neutral setting. To train control board, toggle switch up to “learn” position for 2 seconds. On the fob, press and hold 50% button for 30 seconds. Once the spreader starts, turn it on and off to ensure it works properly.

Can I use the new control on an older wireless unit, are they interchangeable?

The new controller is not a direct plug-and-play replacement for older units. To upgrade, you must install a complete kit that includes both the new receiver and the new fob. These components must be replaced together to ensure they pair correctly and function properly.
