As voting is underway to elect the 2014 National Truck Equipment Association (NTEA) Board of Trustees, Douglas Dynamics, Inc.announces that the company’s own John Murphy, Vice President of Sales, is running for election. Douglas Dynamics, Inc. reminds current NTEA members to vote by February 4th, 2014 and consider electing John Murphy to the 2014 NTEA Board of Trustees.
Experienced Leadership
Murphy has spent 31 years in the work truck industry. First joining in 1982, Murphy has held extensive leadership roles in customer service, regional sales management and marketing. In 2008, Murphy assumed his present position as vice president of sales for Douglas Dynamics, overseeing responsibility of all brands.
An active member of the Snow and Ice Management Association, Murphy previously served on its board of directors.

Murphy desires to give back to an industry that has rewarded him professionally over the years. Leveraging his industry experiences, he is driven to contribute new ideas and serve as a positive advocate for change and continuous improvement within the association.

Non-NTEA members are encouraged to join for eligibility to vote and gain access to the association’s vast resources for professionals and managers within the trucking industry.
