STRIKER® (0.35 & 0.7 CU YD) Accessories

50-GALLON PRE-WET & DIRECT LIQUID APPLICATION KIT

With the addition of this accessory to the 0.7 cu yd model, operators will have the ability to pre-wet materials or spray brine directly onto the driving surface for anti-icing applications. The accessory kit includes two 25-gallon pre-wet tanks, a pump and a spray kit.

CENTRAL POINT GREASE KIT

The Central Point Grease Kit provides easy access to grease points, simplifying preventative maintenance greasing that is essential to maximize bearing life.

EXTENSION COLLARS

An extension collar is available as an accessory to increase material capacity for vehicles that can handle the additional weight. 0.25 cu yd extension collars available for the 0.35 cu yd hoppers and 0.5 cu yd extension collars available for the 0.7 cu yd hoppers.

SPILL GUARD KIT

A Spill Guard Kit provides the loader with an improved line of sight to the hopper edges, extending the edges of the hopper to 60” for the 0.35 cu yd model and 75.5” for the 0.7 cu yd model. This allows loading with a 5’ loader bucket and prevents overflow and spill into the bed of the vehicle.

TARP KIT

Keep de-icing material dry in your 0.35 and 0.7 cu yd stainless Striker^® spreaders with affordable and easy to install tarp covers and bungees.

INVERTED V KIT

Reduce heavy startup loads on the drivetrain and potential bridging during operations with the optional inverted V. Made of 12 gauge 201 stainless steel, the inverted V is strong and corrosion resistant, for use in highly demanding environments. The inverted V is easy to assemble and install and will provide years of trouble free use.

LED STROBE LIGHT KIT

Make sure you’re seen, day or night, with our Strobe Lights for added visibility during operation. Encased in high impact plastic, this yellow LED strobe works in temperatures as cold as -20°F and will ensure that you’re seen in all but the worst of conditions. Make sure you spread safely with strobe light markers.

LED WORK LIGHT KIT

See more to do more with the Work Light Kit for better visibility at the rear of your spreader at night. Encased in anodized aluminum, and good to less than minus 20 degrees, this LED work light will put over 1000 lumens where you need them, when you need them. The LEDs mean low amp draw, so you can easily use more than one (see our Additional Work Light Kit, PN 99732-1).

VEHICLE-SIDE HARNESS KIT

The Vehicle-Side Harness Kit contains components to replace harnessing on the truck or wire a second truck to operate the spreader.

TRUCK UPFIT KIT

This kit contains a longer truck harness, license plate kit, CHMSL kit, and a ratchet tie down kit so the 0.35 cu yd hopper can be used in place of an auger tailgate spreader when using sand.

RATCHET TIE-DOWN KIT

Positive locking mount with ratchet-strap assist provides additional in-bed stability, security, and simplifies installation for multiple vehicle types.

Hopper spreaders require bolting to the truck frame for proper operator safety.

LICENSE PLATE KIT

Stay street legal with this illuminated License Plate Kit for your alternate license plate location. Providing convenient mount methods and lighting in a high impact plastic casing, the license plate kit allows you to move your license to a spot that is visible and legally compliant. Don’t leave without it.

CONTROL CUP HOLDER MOUNT

Put a hard stop to juggling controls and cell phones. Functional and practical, the Control Cup Holder Mount lets you secure your WESTERN spreader controls or your smartphone (not included) on a flexible gooseneck mount for optimal, customizable positioning. This compact, easy-to-install genuine WESTERN accessory is designed to fit firmly into most size cup holders in your vehicle (image featuring plow control).

SPREADER CONTROL ADAPTER PLATE

Gain the flexibility and easy installation benefits of the cup holder control mount with every spreader installation using the new Spreader Control Adapter Plate Kit. Kit contains a durable metal mounting plate and hardware.

VIBRATOR KIT

Loosen up stubborn materials and prevent bridging with this Vibrator Kit. Featuring a 200V DC vibrator motor in a metal housing, our vibrator will help prevent bridging and clogging, improving material flow so you can do your job faster and better.

DIELECTRIC GREASE

Don’t risk corrosion problems—use WESTERN® dielectric grease! Western Products recommends all owners consistently use our special formulation dielectric grease to protect all electrical connections in tough winter snow, ice and salt conditions.
